Student Loan Assistance

Administered by Fidelity Investments

Otsuka provides eligible employees with a company funded payment applied to the employee’s qualified higher education student loan(s).

 

The goal is to continue to provide eligible employees with market competitive benefits and help reduce their student loan debt.

About the program:

​

  • If you are a full time Otsuka employee, you can receive a monthly benefit towards your student debt.

​

  • Your lending institution will receive $250 a month payment on your behalf every month up to $10,000 during your career with Otsuka.

​

  • This benefit is specific to employee student debt only and Parent PLUS loans are excluded.

​

  • You can enroll in this benefit by going to Fidelity's website (see below)

Reimbursement for Approved Tuition Applications

Prior to enrollment:

1. Review the Student Loan Assistance Program Policy, and 

  • Obtain your student loan statement with the following information included:

    • Your name and address

    • Name of your loan servicer or lender

    • Address where you would mail in a payment

    • Loan account number

2. Login to your Fidelity account at www.401k.com

​

3. On the home page under Your Accounts and Benefits – Other Benefits, click ‘Student Debt Program’ then ‘Start Enrollment’ 

Please note: In any plan year you may choose to participate in either the Student Loan Assistance program or the Tuition Reimbursement benefit; however, you may not participate in both. Additionally, Otsuka does not guarantee that participation in formal education will entitle you to advancement, different job assignments, or pay increases.
